Denny's desire to stay on the cutting edge of professional photography has opened doors to creative new ideas. Denny and Pat Houska have owned and operated DENNY'S Contemporary Images since 1974, specializing in high school senior photography and family portraiture. Denny's photography has won many state awards. He is a Photographic Craftsman and is one of Nebraska's Certified Photographers. Each degree is from the Professional Photographers of America. Denny is a past Professional Photographers of Nebraska and Central Nebraska Professional Photographers President and has presented many lectures to other professional photographers.

The Real Boss... is the office manager.  Her warm and caring personality contributes greatly to your portrait experience.  She'll help you throughout your experience at DENNY'S. From helping you set up your appointment, to carrying out your framed portraits to your car, Pat will help you make decisions best for you.

Denny and Pat were honored with the Professional Photographers of America, Inc., National Award for outstanding service to professional photography. The award was presented by the Professional Photographers of Nebraska, a PPA Affiliated Association, at their annual convention held on March 15, 2004 in Grand Island.

The National Award is offered by the PPA to State, Regional, National, and International affiliated organizations on a yearly basis. First made available in 1958, the award recognizes those persons who generously contribute their time and talents to the service of their profession, their affiliated organization, and their fellow photographers. Selections of the award are determined by the recipient's peers, which adds to its distinction and value.

  When they're not busy at work, Denny and Pat most enjoy spending time with their grandchildren, Xavier, Oliver, Maya and Henry.
